Oh come on!

There is so much chatter on this blog that I can't keep up! LOL Not! I had thought about having the get together on a Tuesday night but then after looking at my calendar, I have late afternoon doctor appointments on the 15th and the 22nd. We could have it on a Monday night, like the 14th or the 21st. I figured that Wednesday night my not be good for all because of church. Any input on either of those days? I have been making button flowers for my latest crafting project. I always make jewelry, greeting cards and do scrapbooking so I'm up for just about anything.

OK Girls! We have been talking about this for some time...let's get it going!

I would like for everyone to become familar with this blog so that we will have one place to stay in touch. If you need help with anything, let me know. If I don't know the answer, I'll find the answer.

I would like to have the first meeting of the "Jasper Crafting Guild" this month, September 2009. I would like for everyone who is going to be a part of the group to help make decisions on everything. We will be having the meetings at my home which is in the Jasper City limits down behind the Tech school. Here is a list of things I would like your input on...

1. How often should we meet? This is open for me, it could be once a week to once a month and anything in between.

2. What night of the weeek would be best for everyone? I am also open on this, I think any night should be fine with me.

3. What time should we meet? I was thinking of something like 5-8pm or 6-9 pm. Of course everyone will be free to come and go as their schedule warrants.

4. Do we want to bring our own project to work on or do we want one person teaching a particular craft at each meeting? We actually could do both where we all bring our own project to work on but then when someone wants to teach something they can. That way, if something is being taught that you aren't really interested in learning, you can continue to work on your own project but still have the interaction and fun with the rest.

5. Do we want to have dinner at these meetings? To do this, we could each pay an equal portion of the costs or we could each bring a dish. We also could do all snacks or we can mix it up, dinner some meetings, snacks some meetings.

6. What night of September would you like to start?
